Gday Fred, I just went over and had a look, it could possibly be the Redback? I do know that part of the thinking about using projectiles (grenades) was that they could harm civilians, what they call collateral damage? and this certainly sounds like that where Angus Huston says!
"if you were to have a counter-rocket artillery munition system, you have also got to factor in such issues as collateral (civilian) damage," Air Chief Marshal Houston said.
"In sending out a munition to intercept the incoming rocket, a mortar or artillery round, there's always a danger of the whole lot falling on the civilian population.

but I would have thought that the Air blast capabilities of metalstorm would be able to fix that, as they would explode in the vacinity of the incoming rocket and not travel much further than that without detonating!

And I don't know of any other company working in this area in Oz? but that's not to say there aren't any!
