well not much AZL (like all of us) can do but wait...
they put in application...biden got in...automatic 90 day hold on issuing any permits...consult period got extended by BLM 3? times i think (so another few months)..in the meanwhile BLM had their own restructuring & people moved & left & staff shortages ..so backlog.
normally average time for BLM to make decision is 4 months.
but it not like it end of the world if we wait another month or whatever....AZL doing all the other things to get ready anyhow while they wait.
at end of day current resource is a planned 15-20 tonnes per annum for 15-20yrs (and thats with grades cutoff at 2000ppm & a big chunk of that was more than that grade)...only difference being with extra drilling you extend life of mine to 50yrs plus.
we have 20 million in kitty.
money for water rights...money for pilot plant.
we have exposure to usa OTC market.
flowchart nearly done.....we know we will be using substantially less water & less acid (main cost) & will be moving less tonnage (so less cost).
we realistically wont be moving final product very far (less cost) & we next to road/rail (so less cost)
they doubled lordsburg while they waited & put in permits to drill there too.
with recent cap raise those people have a year to convert options...thats millions more to go into kitty.
once BLM approve drilling we just need scooping study to push this along a few more steps.
we just need to be patient
