A. is what I mean by stereoscopic, although not via a stereoscopic viewer. I mean processing the video feeds from cameras to produce stereoscopic video/3D point cloud/depth map, whatever you want to call it.
I'm not sure how DVS was brought into it. I was talking to@Iseki about benefits of stereoscopic vision vs lidar and it somehow got interjected into the conversation and people keep jumping back and forward between lidar and DVS for reasons unknown to me.
When I linked the papers it was just because I was wondering out loud about using two DVS cameras and applying stereographic processing, which as it turns out has been looked at by at least one research group https://arxiv.org/abs/1907.07518. I linked the ANU video as well because even though it isn't using two DVS in a stereographic system, it is still using passive sensors as opposed to lidar. Didn't realised it had been discussed on this forum already.
