Had a great chat with my optometrist today, he knows NWE really well. I think his name was Jones? one of the two..
Great guy, good soft skills and has an eye for gas and oil. Makes you feel welcome and wants the best for everyone on this thread.
Apparently NWE may have had overtures from industrials (not MIN) looking for gas security for their own operations post 2024, but the advisor to the king says there's no rush as its a seller's market. This was partly made public in the above investor session for anyone looking to moderate my comments . Apparently this advisor is a unit and doesn't come cheap and is THE GUY you want handling your gas sales from a Perth office. @Brobel@V10@Pottermore you guys may know what I'm talking about here.
The offers were contingent on 2c values for domestic market and we don't have any yet, so the offers were assumed low in my view and rebuffed for now. There seems to be less assurance that urea supply would make the same bank as thermal gas at this point as well.
The optometrist has a view that Netback is possible for a portion, up to half of NWE resource but the path is not lit on this item yet, which is what we got from the Q and A session above anyway. He also thinks that @seahunt is correct in that $1b for 1TCF is the right/expected price for domestic supply, but minimum on netback is double that.
Also, optometrist did mention that he knew of @OldGeo though an acquaintance and that HC was a familiar platform to him, but he made no mention of participation.
Reading the tea leaves, it looks like a bid war T/O might erupt once a 2c value is put on Lockyer Deep and 2D scans have been examined for early resource estimates in the other leads (early 2023?). It sounds to me that there's at least three players preparing a brief on NWE right now. If exploration wells do go in ground prior to an offer, likely Lead A and/or Lead B will be targeted as they are on a direct path to the main gas transfer line from LD1. Springy Creek will be pushed hard if extractable oil is found in the West Erregulla site or the LD downpip well, which in my view will be located as the derived transect point to the East of LD-1 where there was a significant flourescence show in the Dongara/Wagina above the indicative downpip cutoff of the Kingia resource.
Lead-E to the south is less likely to be targeted at this point but the Ringneck survey will decide that IMO.

    Anyway, GLTAH
