Not sure if any of you out there have ever been appointed to a CEO role of a tech company. I have (a couple of times) and I can tell you that, as some have observed, one needs to get up to speed with many things before making public statements. Remember this is Sean's first gig as a CEO so he will not only have to understand the technology and the company but also his responsibilities as an Aussie company director and CEO. The pitfalls are many so I, for one, am happy to see him take some time (a month maybe) to properly settle in prior to facing the shareholders, the industry and the public at large.
