After a good examination of the latest drilling report, I have found some interesting stuff:

HYENA:

- new zones with significant mineralisation;
- initial efforts to test new targets away from know deposits, shows immediate results;
- vertical drill holes, so when they figure out the orientation and drill at angle, expect grades to increase;
- of the 42 dillholes, 20 intersected significant mineralisation;
- In particular, holes 007 + 008 are shallow, broad and high grade (* for presto72);
- close proximity to existing resource mean it could be incorporated into the new resource estimate;
- JACKEL still to be tested.

ONKELO:

- 7 drillholes, all beyond previous drill coverage and outside current resource model (meaning increase in mining resource to come);


OSHIVELI:

- 19 drillholes have all intersected significant mineralisation;
- drilling has closed much of the unfilled gap with Onkelo;




UPDATING RESOURCE ESTIMATE
- early 2010

“Bannerman is on target to report the preliminary feasibility study results over the coming months, and in the meantime continues to undertake resource definition, sterilisation and near-project exploration drilling programs.”

What does "sterilisation" mean?

PS - HIGHER GRADES ?: I got the list of attached drill results for Onkelo and Oshiveli, and put a highlighter through all grades above 250 ppms, in the last column of the report.....sea of green!
