Yep - those numbers and writing in the core photos are "MS" for massive sulfide and the smaller circles have numbers like 3.5% Ni and a 0.7% Cu written next to these small yellow pencil circles on the core somewhere else, I would bet dollars to doughnuts that they are portable XRF spot readings taken on the core, just remember that the xray beam or window is only about 1cm x 2cm so these spot readings are just very localized and not representative of the entire metre of drill core.
