    As Max also said.... "Missed by that much". ....... you don't seem to understand my post wrt NSW..... they don't even need Cabinet approval, the core pollies, Health, Treasury, Premier and maybe lobbyists, are all that is required in NSW.

    Vic powers are not "unprecedented".

    I don't agree with either NSW or Vic MPs having the greater power to invoke medical emergency authority. This should, imo, be the judgement of a panel of experts in medical emergency measures as a medical emergency over-rides political expediency (which is often reluctant to act with the quickness required in such cases).

    we in NSW have seen how political decisions on quarantine can cause more problems by being unequal, the wealthier beach-side burbs got limited lockdown while the poorer western, Lab councils, got smashed and policed heavily...... but all done too late to capture the infection and stop the spread.
