I think there is a backlog of work industry wide. Hell not just in this industry, in pretty much every industry globally. Absolutely everyone is bitching about this from Elon Musk down to CEOs of penny dreadful stocks waiting for assay results. I wouldn't be surprised if this money helps expediate some work. Could the company get to FID without raising again? quite possibly. At what cost to timelines in this environment? 1 year? 2 years?

Dilution is going to happen. Have a look at the amount of money Sunrise has spent pre-FID. Progress costs money. You also need to shore up the balance sheet for the debt financers and also to give yourself a chance 12 months down the road. After all the DFS work is done and you are ready to proceed do you really want to get to that point with little money left in the kitty, having not shown the financiers an ability to raise money freely and expect them to have faith that the $1bn isn't too big an ask?

last CR was about 6 months ago at 8c, This one is at 16c. Big picture things are tracking in the right direction.
