Australia's Health Minister admits that the Omiron variant is highly infectious but less virulent (you know, just like a cold virus) and offers “strong protection against serious illness, hospitalisation and loss of life” (you know, like the vax was supposed to do) and that it's also “a quietly positive development for the world”. Greg Hunt is actually talking about natural herd immunity (although they're using it to push booster shots and they'll try to spin it so the vax gets all the credit!)
