king, it is generally accepted that once all borders are open the virus in whatever form its in (lately omnicron) will infect a lot of people vaccinated or not. The issue with a lrge number of unvaccinbated people is that the hospital system isn't set up to handle larger numbers of seriously ill people, vaccinated people (me included) can catch the virus , the evidence to date is that vaccinated people generally don't get as seriously ill though, the NSW hospitalisation numbers support this situation over the last few months. Lets hope omnicron is what the medical sprecialists say it is and not as dangerous as Delta or original COVID , but who knows what or whether we get a new vasriation and its characterists will be. I am not criticising unvaxx people and I don't support the shutting out of these people , however, if you look into duty of care and the fact that in Qld the onus and liability lies with individuual business owners . A mate that owns a bar/nightclub can be fined $13,000 or go to jail if an unvaxxed person is found on his licensed premises.sort of puts a bit of pressure on him don't you think. I don't know what the situation is in other states, it would depend on their OHS laws.
