The federal government has offered support to Moderna to set up a plant in Melbourne. If they completely overlook IDT and a homegrown vaccine in the ATM, then that would be a disgrace.
I still think IDT is still in the running and maybe part of the deal is that Moderna has to use IDT fill and finish as a stop gap until 2024. Health still has exclusivity over the sterile facilities so if it’s not for Moderna then it will be for Novavax. Both good outcomes.
