Hey, enjoyed your analysis and charts.
Its the short time that worries me at centro, the long term always looks good.
I went though the half year report yesterday, i am not much of a race goer and lost on saturdays with the footy season over.
I reviewed each individual MCS ##, and found there was one almost a direct correalation between the date and performance. In other words the earlier ones did and are doing better than the latter funds.
What this suggests to me is that unfortunately centro management is too fund orientated rather than operational orientated. It appears that centro skill is funds management but are unable to run an actual shopping town. Which is important to turn the company around.
In contrast to westfield.
I also looked at the management teams, they would not have problems marketing their fund Skills, but in my opinion they do not show the qualities to turn a retail outlet around.
Centro, needs to downsize to be a successful company. But is unable to sell the properties pulling it down. Let alone upgrade the facilities to match the new reality.
cheers to the cer followers
