If they can show that a major part of your selling was due to factors other than this announcement (ie the announcement was just the final straw), your case will be significantly weakened. (such as your whole 'triple murder' theory)

Further, if postings from other posters raised the fact that (prior to you selling) it was most likely a CYA type of announcement, and you proceeded to sell without seeking clarification, you will probably lose.
