Look mate, you and many here are completely forgetting the dark days we were all in. Money drying up, share price had a slight uptick but still collapsed from Highs.
directors on reduced salaries, NO money in the bank. No one wanted to buy the lithium asset off us let alone consider a JV.
let’s also not forget the fairly pathetic copy paste quarterlies we received. That in itself wasn’t really any current employees fault at the time, we had no money, BOD2 took everything.
Also Our drilling of Goulamina is Severely lacking. Watch as our next programs over the course of the next 2 year absolutely Decimates previous drilling programs.
yes we had 300m shares on offer… but we were worth nothing! I remember when we got a grant from the government around this time and it was actually a talking point… it was only around $500k!
oh and our gold tenements were pathetic. We spent a fortune (from what we had) drilling out n’tolia and viper which we effectively gave to Barrick for cents on the dollar. They plunged their golden spoon int the heart of the deposit and didn’t even consider it worth while to scrap the edges before moving on.
I laugh directly in the face of anyone who considers we were in a better position then than we are now. Absolutely clueless in this company if you consider for a second we would have been in a better position without Morila. Morila continues to be a solid co tender for deal of the century… if you don’t believe that, look at the costs involved with acquisitions even in Africa. I have. I’ve done extensive research. No one is selling what we pick up for anywhere near the price.
Morila is a company maker. Goulamina is a company maker. WE WERE A DISASTER WHEN WE HAD 300M SOI. If you think otherwise, you either weren’t around or you have an extremely short memory.
it’s not fair to use hindsight to say lithium was a sure thing to turn around. How low would the sp have fallen, how many raises would have had to happen to keep the thing afloat till lithium got a pulse. And as AC said, another company would have come alone and taken us to the cleaners
shareholders never been in a stronger position. Ever. Onward and upwards ladies and gents.
