well, 5N doesn't even have that over 4N - nanoplankton...
Not a great deal of advantage as yet - 4N would suffice for the vast majority of applications. This represents an improvement of 100ppm to 10ppm impurities. It is however a good measure of the efficacy of the flowsheet. Consistency of product quality and maintaining this in scaling up operations are much more important, in my opinion.
