Yeah hmmm,.. I'm not sure it will be that hard. Is it not a case of writing up a protocol of what they will do in the event of new future strains emerging, one that covers all foreseeable bases? Obviously, immediate efforts will be required to ensure ongoing detection of new strains as they emerge and immediate notification to them ( The TGA ) should it be found wanting for some future variant ? But is it not a case of putting all that in writing and submitting it.. they don't have to physically do anything for something that, as far as we know, hasn't happened yet. I'm pretty sure at least some thought has to have been given to this by now?
