Blatantly and disproportionately spent in the community for the sole purpose of political advantage at the expense of genuine expenditure to meet community needs. The need for a federal oversight body is plainly obvious to prevent misappropriation of taxpayers funds by any party. We should all care that projects to be funded are free from political interference.
