I don't mind the washout on no news. Better the weak hands are out once and for all. What we need from LPI is a stream of key, company-making announcements between now and mid-2022 for both the WA and Chilean assets.

Given the polarised nature of the political landscape in Chile at the moment, it is wise to wait until the Presidential run-off is over before announcing the DFS. I also expect the announcement about Mitsui partnering with LPI / MSB to happen after the inauguration of the new Government in mid-March 2022. It would be a good news story for the incoming President / Government.

Time will tell. It is very frustrating but a little more patience required.
