It is an interesting point you make F/M. I don't know what other Bourses do, but I do agree with you! You have to read like the wind and hope like crikey that you don't make an error of judgement on what you've just read when thinking of buying or selling on the announcement.
You could always lobby this point with either the ASX directly, or ASIC; and I for one think it would be very interesting to see what sort of responses you yet!
