re: gold bars - unallocated?? Unallocated - isn't that a bit of a worry?

With an unallocated buy, you don't own the gold/silver, but are simply one of the mint's creditors/liabilities - at least as I understand it.

I believe one should pay the extra to get an allocated bar - then it's yours.

Even better, take ownership and carefully hide the bar in the bottom left drawer of your bedroom dressing table.
