There is no doubt in my mind that only part of the material contract $ figures announced yesterday will go towards the Pointerra ACV figure.
But getting large new clients on board, and building digital twins for them on the 3DP platform - will result in some large increases in our ACV figure going forward.
And these recent large $ value "project work wins" will have a significant & positive impact on 3DP's cash flows and revenues - especially as many of them should be completed in relatively short time frames.
3DP Revenues - Pointerra's revenues for the last few years have been:
Year ended 30 June 2019: $443K
Year ended 30 June 2020: $1.228m (a 177% increase on previous year)
Year ended 30 June 2021: $3.983m (a 224% increase on previous year)
With so many of these "project wins" recently coming through, I am pretty confident that 3DP's revenue for Year Ended 30 June 2022 will be upwards of $11m
And even with all the extra staff members recently hired & currently being hired, this should have 3DP showing very healthy EBITDA figures for this financial year - and that type of revenue will also highly likely result in a positive NPAT figure.
RAAS Report / ACV / Valuation - with regards to ACV, it's interesting that RAAS have put a current valuation of $0.90 based on ACV reaching $50m USD by 31 December 2024.
However, their "upside case valuation" rises to $1.81 per share if 3DP can reach $50m USD in ACV twelve months earlier (by 31/12/23).
Using the base ACV figure of $11.7m USD that was reported back on 29 October 2021, and then applying a constant 17.5% ACV multiple for the next 9 x quarters, the ACV for Pointerra reaches $50m USD by 31 January 2024 (a date that is just after the upside case for RAAS's $1.81 valuation).
Now obviously this 17.5% quarterly multiple is overly simplistic, and the ACV increases will ebb & flow as we onboard some larger clients, but 3DP has already increased it's ACV by over 17.5% in a few quarters.
With the most recent quarter ending 29 October 2021 showing approximately a 19% increase in ACV - and with this current quarter also looking pretty strong based on recent announcements.
So it may be a "very big ask" to reach $50m by 31 January 2024 for the "RAAS upside valuation", but it is definitely possible - especially if we land a few big clients in some of the other targeted "Sectors & Industries" (AEC, Mining Oil & Gas, Defence etc)
