I think the key difference with AXE and Orca (and many others) is in the fundamentals. As mentioned by others on here many times, the AXE team are building a chip that is not based on light / photons but on graphene based technology that ultimately will be used on silicone wafers (I.e. not a large desktop type system). There are many advantages of the AXE system in terms of chip size - this is where the competitive advantage lies at this stage. They need time to make it all work which we know will be a long process in tandem with their partners working on the algorithms etc that will be required to make the technology useable.
