Agreed with that. The SP today will have zero impact on the SP a month from now, let alone years from now when I sell. Nothing posted here by me or anyone else will impact the SP in the long-run either.
I like posting on boards of companies I'm invested in, because it helps me to stress test my investment theses and stay up to date with the companies I'm invested in. I actually enjoy the research aspect of investing and writing can be a useful exercise for organizing my thoughts. To the extent that my posts are helpful for anyone else, that's a bonus.
Every once in a while, I get a kick out of poking the troll. And on rare occasions, s/he stumbles upon something new that is worth commenting on.
