True but have shell disclosed anything further to the senegal govt regarding whether there is anything at all or not. If they have given any inkling they don't see anything govt may opt not to renew. Especially with other nations, companies that may offer Petrosen a better deal or money to search?

I know in theory they would want to extend because of the time and effort by FAR put in so far, but it is no shoe in it will get extended.

I think we need to be realistic here as FAR has had disappointments before and when we all thought Shell must sign on because of late notice not to venture in with FAR some of us were surprised and lost out.

It's still a gamble betting on this, so hence keep what you can afford to lose on the table, don't over extend.

I'd be much happier avging up again then avging down so I don't magnify losses.
