Flight11, I follow both companies. Given the long duration to qualify and the complexity of the design compared to WBT (3 masks of production for WBT to over 36 for AKP - the last time this was discussed some years back), I have little doubt it could be anyone other than tower jazz at this stage. its been hard enough (months, nearly more than 6 to just get an alternative packager and that is far less complex than producing the mems.
Anyway I have been around since the tested the chip at 1trillion reps life cycle (I thought it was ready to go then) - 4 years on Im still waiting.
As we all have said - Are we there yet...... F5cked if I know but we may be imminent.
