Unless I am mistaken when looking at their website, Alcolizer looks to be an antibody test on blood samples as they have moved from saliva samples of BAC tests to blood tests. Antibody tests provide evidence of you having had COVID rather than an antigen test which provides an early marker. Given my limited knowledge in this field my understanding is that testing for antibodies is more useful for establishing who has been infected or who had generated antibodies from a vaccine.

Our test is equivalent to a PCR test with a CT of 32.
This means that we can detect a very tiny amount of viral load that is duplicated 32 times which means that it is about as close to a PCR test as any RAT would be able to get.
I think given the rapid increase in Sydney and Melbourne recently with Omicron not having taken full hold as yet will provide ADO investors with plenty of tests that will be quickly sold out once TGA approval has been achieved.
I am more concerned about manufacturing capabilities than being late to the market.

We did 80,000 tests in Victoria today, 143,000 tests in NSW and 280,000 in Australia. At $80 per test that is $22Mil per day in tests!
Imagine having a test that takes 15 minutes rather than 26 hours (I work in the health industry so my test was a P1 priority) while reducing the cost to $20 per test at $5.5Mil. The test could be used at all Hospitals to provide much more accurate results prior to any Operation rather than relying on a 24 hour old PCR test. They could expand the testing to all medical clinics and the daily tests might rise to double of what was done today before you know it. That type of volume would consume the 32Mil of manufacturing capacity in less than 40 days in a country that has a relatively low population.

From what it looks like the TGA queries relate to the new variants and if ADO can answer this quickly (as one of the contributors has provided some information on), we should get not just approval but some additional cudos for how much better the ADO RAT is when compared to tests already cancelled in Europe and US as they failed to live up to their original suggested specify

We might soon get to a state where Dolcevita makes her money back and the share price will continue to increase which removes the need for less of the repetitive personal opinion posts that add zero value.
