It would be welcome news that FMG were active in Central Western Africa and required a consortium of infrastructure builders to do the work for them.
Belinga is closer to Badondo on a map than (a lengthy rail corridor to) Libreville.
Goes back to my initial thoughts that this can be a multi-mine project stretching across multiple central west African nations.
FMG lost a tender in 2019 to develop a part of Simandou, so stands to reason they would look for any multi-billion tonne opportunities in the same Region.
The motivations are there, just need the investment partners to develop the abundant opportunities.
I’d say we’re well placed.
