Well rightly or wrongly (time will tell), I picked up another 27,500 HTG shares today at 19.5 cents.
Call me stubborn, but I refuse to believe that the below partnerships (with some massive companies) will not lead to some huge recurring revenue for HTG products in the coming months & years:
Realwear
Speedcast
Cisco Webex
Ocean Infinity
Inmarsat
Fugro etc
The last HTG 4C was also definitely a step in the right direction - although I suspect that approximately $1.7m of the $4m AUD in cash receipts came from the hiring of the VOS Shine vessel (which HTG have now returned).
This $1.2 USD / $1.7m AUD "Carnarvon Petroleum Timor" hire of the VOS Shine was outlined in the HTG announcement on 16 August 2021.
Even allowing for this, cash receipts of at least $2.3m in the quarter from HTG's "main / ongoing products & services" was definitely a step in the right direction - especially considering they achieved a total of just $3.8m in cash receipts for the entire 20/21 financial year.
As previously mentioned, I was a bit gobsmacked that HTG did not announce Andy Lowery leaving - and this latest CR was definitely a little sooner than I expected.
These two "events" have combined to seriously erode the short term confidence in this company for many shareholders.
However based on the relationships they have already built with a number of high quality business, with a product & business model that reeks of sticky recurring revenue, and with really high gross profit margins, I am backing them to bounce back strongly soon
