And I remember QLD's Chief Health Officer, Dr. Jeannette Young, vehemently declaring late last year, about 7 months into the pandemic, that 'Queensland is the last place where peolpe will be wearing face masks!' Obviously she hadn't researched how most East Asian nations had brought the virus under control.
