This video is for another stock I have but at the 50:14 second mark he talks about the hydroxide plant for giga-Texas which is relevant to our discussions here.

He states the plant will convert lithium carbonate to lithium hydroxide. I have been assuming for a while now that PLL would still accept the spodumene from Sayona and drop ship it to Texas and let them process it into hydroxide until the PLL plant in N. Carolina was completed. With this new bit of data (input to giga-Texas will be lithium carbonate NOT spodumene) I have to think the contract with PLL will absolutely need to be redone or disbanded all together.

The 2nd point with relevance to Sayona is this: If Tesla is planning a plant where they buy lithium carbonate and then pay even more to convert it to hydroxide means they are absolutely desperate for hydroxide.
