It’s just common sense.
The size of the global bond market is approaching a quarter of a quadrillion dollars. It’s incomprehensible large. It dwarves global stock markets and forex markets combined.
By contrast the value of all the gold ever produced is just a few trillion dollars. And of this, only a tiny, tiny fraction is available to trade In financial markets
Nothing comes close to rivaling the bond market as a ‘store of value’. Anyone suggesting otherwise is living in make-believe land and can’t be taken seriously
