You imply that the two are at odds. But they are not - unless you have unrealistic timelines.

You sold, so you presumably did not 'support and believe'.

Those who do 'support and believe' tend to have more appropriate timeline expectations - holding until commercialisation and beyond. There are reasons - often discussed here - as to why profit expectations are very high for those timelines.

But for short-term holds it is always going to be 'hit and miss' for start-ups like EMV.

Due to the lengthy periods between market re-rating developments, there are going to be lengthy consolidation periods and SP drifting. We are likely to have another year of that (not all one way) before the serious SP growth occurs (pending, of course, success with the pivotal trials).
