Never let the fact's get in the way of a good story. The IPL Acid Plant at Mt Isa is to the left of the lower MIM Copper Smelter Stack, two white tanks are visible, the taller one being the Lead Smelter Stack for obvious health reasons. IPL produce Ammonia out at Phosphate Hill, the Acid for the Super Phosphate comes from Mt Isa 150kms away by rail. Guessing that the gas is cheaper out west?
