It is not so simple for LiveTiles and services.

M365 has pretty decent intranet capabilties and consultancies typically make their money through services. So as an consultancy what are you going to push -

LiveTiles? Where they may combat you for the implementation services or perhaps just leverage the native capabilities and keep all the services to yourself. Native might not be as good, but it keeps things simple.

But LiveTiles needs partners as they can't be talking to everyone. It is not so easy and typically doing both is challenging. You are either channel first or direct. It does seems like LiveTiles is direct.
