Thanks for sharing your story@Goldilocks as there are a few lessons in there for the young and inexperienced, that's if they take it that way. Like investing with borrowed money. Wow, been there done that myself (redraw facility on the mortgage in my case). I was up a lot by taking profits regularly, because trading was working just fine. However then I got too cocky with a stock in Africa.
I lost about 180 grand for knowing better and adding to a losing position!



From that setback, it took me a long time to get my mojo back and starting to invest again. Well, there were a few expansive lessons learned. However once I got going again, by taking very small steps trading small positions in order to collect positive experiences, which is very important, things were looking up again and the mortgage sorted.
LTR was just a lucky strike for me as I was prowling the bird for some inspiration and came across some LTR twits and videos with DR strutting his stuff => chart => small position => sell => wait buy again => building a worth while position => go free carry => sell most of my holding near the 18c high => walk away, but keep an eye on things => realise the the 5.3c low, but ... => confirm new uptrend => get set => add and add and add all below 11c => change audited from a trader to a buy&hold investor and never look back only adding small parcels to holding on dips in the SP.
