Would imply a multiple of 4x, shows that technical analysis can only get you so far and is best used alongside some fundamental analysis and understanding of the business.

If GQG is half as smart as I'm giving them credit for, they would conduct a buy back well before then.

Would pacific current even let it go below $1 before buying back shares ? They obviously still like it given they are happy to let it represent the majority of the net asset value. You'd think they would want to support the share price?

Perhaps poor timing for the IPO given the sentiment around fund managers, more specifically those with outflows, GQG may be caught up in the fund manager sell off given the downfall of Magellan

Is GQG becoming another Magellan ?
No, at least not in the short term, their flow momentum is too strong, great fund performance with a fee structure that is more than competitive.

I'm thinking this will consolidate around 1.60-1.75 as volumes ease over the Christmas break. Wouldn't be surprised if it gaps up on the Dec. FUM announcement early Jan which will indicate the inflows which the market may not be appreciating.

There's also the inclusion into the broader indices which should happen next quarter, causing more buying pressure and analyst coverage.

At least the business is continuing north even if the share price doesn't reflect this in the short term. I believe @lost said they secured another U.S large cap growth mandate today.
