Quick breakdown on trucking costs for anyone interested. I don't know what the going rate for freight is in America but I'm sure what I get charged here in Australia would work out as a rough guide.

I get charged $20 a tonne to freight bulk material 100km. (That's one way - the round trip is 200km but obviously for half of that trip the truck is empty so still only charged 20$ for the whole trip. Hope that makes sense )

12000 gallons is 45500litres which is equivalent to 45.5 tonne.

so even if azl has to freight water from 100km away - 45.5tonne ×$20= $910 per truck load.

lifree correctly asserted it would require 12 round trips to freight enough water for the drilling.

12x910 =$10920. That's all that it would cost to freight the entire amount of water we need for drilling from 100km away. But surely there's water closer than that.....hmmmm
