Thanks for the chart but to base a correction of that magnitude on 100 year long historical data is absurd.

How many companies were listed on DOW in the 20's or 30's or 40's? Was stock trading so spread out during this period like it is today? Etc. etc.

Even the word "global" has not been invented during that period :)

Comparing market conditions during this period and today is like predicting that we will return to the Roman Empire standards....if it were to happen more than a half of all major corporations would need to go bust. It ain't happening. A small correction - yes, but that's about it. It's been due for months now.
