ASM Chart Thread, page-4332

The reality we are generally seeing the price moved around on very small HFT volumes. A trade today of 1000 shares is a big trade in the current scheme of things. Until we see significant buying volume I think we just have to accept ASM is at the mercy of the short sellers/bots/day traders. As discussed previously perhaps this generates some overall volume and maybe keeps the SP in some sort of spread but it can be a little frustrating to see the washup at the end of each day. So perhaps some hot news might hopefully burn the shorters at some point but when that might be is anybody's guess. I guess we all need to just relax over the holiday break and see what the New Year brings.
