If you can't see the problem of punishing entire countrys for the actions of a minority of fundamentalist, radicalised halfwits then you are dangerously niave.
The retaliation is out of all proportion to the crime, not to mention mostly killing and maiming those whose only crime is to be living in the wrong country.
The more we group whole populations as being responsible for the actions of a few we reinforce any feelings of marginalisation and suspicion they may have held. This isn't doing us any favours.
This war on terror was promoted as making the world safer, funny seems to be doing the opposite.
Next we'll have North Korea pre-empt an attack on South Korea, China pre-empt Taiwon, Russia goes into Georgia, and the US decides Iran is a great idea.
