Yes, I don’t believe for one second that the empty shelves were the result of the retailers hiding the products for fear of theft. There are other very high value products like cosmetics, meat products, etc, that are not only equally very high value while also being much easier to conceal, but are always available on the shelves. There is no logic behind the company’s statements, and when the logic doesn’t exist that usually means only one thing, and the word to describe it starts with the letter “l”.
