get your point, but the reality is forex movement should be be factored in with these sorts of numbers.
Putting it another way I would be surprised if there isn’t a mechanism to hedge forex risk (ie simply hold in USD).
Also was the SPP trial cost factoring in an R&D tax incentive? If we assume not, this would be a windfall but the R&D refund would only be on eligible expenditure not necessarily the full SPP.
