I am looking for book suggestions/ resources for a DIY retail investor to understand SMSF, Trust, inheritance/ estate planning, pension, tax considerations, strategies to maximise outcomes etc.,. Definitely acknowledge that each individuals personal circumstances would be different so there may not be specifics but a general overview of such topics would be helpful.

Books like Barefoot investor don’t cut it for me.

I have spoken to my FP who has sent me a Fact find document and I will get one off advice. I am hoping the books/ resources would help me understand some of the above considerations and Oz laws around them and also may provide me with better questions to ask my FP/ tax advisors.

For eg, the advisor was telling me how oz investors buy real estate IP via their SMSF and how the capital gains become tax free post retirement. I would not have thought of that if not for the discussion. So I am hoping to educate myself a bit. It will be great if there are workshops/ seminars/ courses that could help as well.
