I have no problem with people making money by trading, each to their own as you say. I DO have a problem with needless point scoring and insults.
I was lucky to spot EXT early and to be able to do a lot of research. So I was quite comfortable to take a big position. We can't always do that, time and resources being against us. I have tried trading (briefly) and it wasn't for me, so I deliberately looked for a company with a world class discovery that would become a takeover target and was hitherto unknown. What I missed out on by holding I hope to gain later on.
Some people are very good at trading. We must play to our strengths, and there is more than one way to skin the cat. So if you are comfortable with trading EXT or any other share, then don't change.
