I think the reality is that as another entity that charges investors unreasonably high performance fees, Thorney doesn't want to manage its own companies prudently when it comes to executive/board remuneration.
As a result they are more than happy to turn a blind eye to companies like SKF that are exploiting their shareholders.

Skyfii is a good example of where the so called activist value proposition spouted by Thorney breaks down.

At the end of the day, they are just another group of industry insiders exploiting the naivety of retail investors.
