The article mentioned is also merely click-bait. If you read the article it doesn't quote anyone from Barrenjoey expressing concern about the drop in the value of shares. That is all on the writer. In fact it highlights that Barrenjoey is
Barrenjoey lost $114.1m for the year to June, largely related to staff costs, but has been profitable for the first three months of this financial year.
And
Separately, there is talk in the market that the bank may soon be moving from its Sydney headquarters at 161 Castlereagh Street to AMP’s Quay Quarter building at Bridge Street in the heart of Sydney’s financial district.
Apparently it is committing to slightly more space than at its base at the southern end of town where its 230–strong Sydney team is housed, a good sign, some would say, for the investment bank.
