Markets don't like uncertainty, and that's where we are at with MFG. We used their SMA's in the early 2000's so it breaks my heart to see them in this position.
I personally am a fan of HD, but he seems so distracted as of late. There are so many good alternative options its very hard to give him the benefit of the doubt.
If anyone can turn it around It's the MFG team. Their distribtuon team is second to none, but that will only get you so far. History will be made in the next 12 months, but it's honestly a coin flip. We may start considering them again for a global allocation in the future but the compeition is fierce right now. For what its worth, State street also rank somewhere near the bottom for us, so dont quite understand that SJM decision, from bad to worse IMO.
