Hi mate, can I just an extension question? If I had Race shares in a personal name and move it to a Trust (self controlled) will the original date of acquisition apply for CGT or the date the shares moved to Trust apply? In this case I am thinking the date the shares were moved to Trust via off market transfer will apply. This is because the Trust is a separate entity from me, correct? Thanks.
Again, not advice, just checking if my understanding is correct.
