I would also add that the sovereign risks of tenements in the DRC don't just amount to threat of war and political instability. China is watching and Manono is no doubt of strategic interest. With all due respect anyone who states that, 'if AVZ doesn't mine Manono then who will' has NFI of world affairs. Unfortunately in the DRC bags of money can do the talking. No doubt China and Chinese mining companies already have some officials in important jurisdictions on their unofficial payroll.

Before any AVZ holders start attacking me, I'm not saying AVZ won't get their ML. It may be imminent. It might even be announced this week. But it's not yet guaranteed. The deal's not done until it's done. Any delays with ML could be of concern. Which then begs the question, what is AVZ without a ML for Manono?
